The first night the kids had a hard time going to bed and didnt want to stay in their cribs so i put them in together and of course they loved it. But i put Sydney back in her own bed so Talan wouldn't crush her in the night. They aren't asleep in the picture, they're just closing their eyes from the flash of the camera.
We had some fun times shopping and hanging out with cousins but on our last day in Utah we went to the dinosaur museum at thanksgiving point. My mom, my aunt Jane and cousins Jill and Emily and their kids all went and we were able to get half off admission because Emily's family has a season pass to thanksgiving point. So Jealous!!! Talan is obsessed with dinosaurs and knows a lot of their names but for some reason when we went to the museum everything with teeth was a T-Rex. T-Rex! T-Rex! T-Rex! The museum was very exciting for the kids and I'm glad we decided to go.
Emily with Halle, Abby and Talan.
Talan and Owen playing with the sand and water. I knew Talan was done when i saw a chunk of wet sand chucked across the room landing on the floor. And im sorry i didnt get good pictures of the kids looking at the camera. Clearly they are having way more fun than to look at the camera.
Afterwards we went and ate lunch and got delicious ice cream somewhere right next to the museum at thanksgiving point (not sure the name). Sydney was sitting in the car seat while i was helping Talan and looked over to this. She has slipped down and was stuck between the seats. Me and my mom also took the kids to the bean museum that night which Talan also loved. It was so neat to see all the animals. I always say Talan loved and not Talan and Sydney loved and thats probably because Talan is finally at the age where he really enjoys things and Sydney i know has fun but is still just along for the ride at 14 months.
The trip was short and the weather was sadly crappy and rainy the whole time we were there while Spokane had gorgeous weather but we still had a blast visiting family. Can't wait to go back with Joe and enjoy more fun things with better weather i hope.
