Silverwood Theme Park

My sister in law Carrie has a gold pass to silverwood theme park out in idaho and was able to get Me and Talan and Ashley and Mia in for free :) I left Sydney with Grandma Trudy for the day and we all had a blast. It was pretty funny when we put them on the airplane their first ride. Talan had the lever that could move the plane up and down but i think he thought he had to keep the lever pulled toward him the whole ride because they stayed up in the air the whole time. I think me and ashley were enjoying it more than them at times. We rode all of the kids rides and rides they were tall enough for. Mia was a little hesitant about riding without her mom so Talan was a solo rider on the rides that adults couldn't go on. But their favorite rides were the train mini coaster and the log ride that we had to wait in line forever for but seemed to go by quickly while we ate our huge ice cream cones. The weather was crazy that day. It was blazing hot waiting in line for the rides and then as soon as we got to the water park the sun went behind the clouds. The kids didnt last very long at the water park and soon were shivering like crazy. Back to the theme park we went and sure enough the sun came right back out. The kids had a great time and we can't wait to go back.

Aunt Ashley went on this ride with Talan because there were two rides that Mia was just barely too short to ride. I wanted her to be able to experience them :)

The last ride of the day,the spinning apples and i think by the looks on their faces the spinning in circles might be too much.

Dockside Ice Cream

We went to celebrate my friend Rebecca's birthday and her homecoming from her mission in Taiwan. We went to the dockside in cda and got their famous yummy Gooey ice cream desserts. I love that place and it is pretty much tradition to go at least once during the summer. We shared a Reese's Gooey but of course between Joe and I and Talan and Sydney we still couldn't finish it. The kids especially loved the ice cream and all the toppings.

On top of the table getting a closer view of the ice cream.
